Keepers Piece is a project we're currently working on. This is a full renovation throughout of the existing old cottage. The existing thatch was at the end of it's life so we have taken the opportunity to strip it off completely, replace the rafters and upgrade the roof insulation with TLX gold throughout. As you can see we have then re-thatched the roof and kept the chocolate box charm of the property at the same time as bringing it in to the 21st century! We have also been working on building a 2 storey extension with matching random moolham stone we split on site so the extension matches the house perfectly! This extension will create a much needed 3rd bedroom in this future family home. We will soon be repointing the entire house with a traditional lime mortar so check in again to see more pics as we progress...!!
